NHS To Provide Expert Mental Health Support To Schools- TheVoice

The NHS has announced plans to work with schools and colleges to make expert mental health support available to a population of more than 470,000 children and young people across England. This care will be available in 2019 in 25 different areas near schools and colleges.

Mental health support teams will:
-Build on support already in place from school counselors, nurses, educational psychologists and the voluntary sector
-Support children and young people with mild to moderate mental health issues
-Help children and young people with more severe needs to access the right support, and provide a link to specialist NHS services

This is an example of soft news and it links to The Voice's British values and shows how they are proud of this development. This article offers surveillance for its readers.
