Trump says Saudi Arabia is being treated 'guilty until proven innocent' over disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi- MailOnline
Jamal Khassgi was a Saudi Arabian journalist and publicly
declared his opposition to the monarchy. He was brutally murdered after
entering Saudi Arabia and the monarchy has been accused of ordering his death.
Both the King and the Prince have denied any involvement in the death and Trump
stepped in on their side saying the people need to stop assuming guilt before innocence
is proven. Trump’s stance on the issue has put him at odds with other key Republican
members who believe the Saudi leadership was involved in the case. As a result
of the murder, and the belief of the leadership involvement in it, many other
international leaders are rethinking their relationships with Saudi Arabia.
